How much will my session cost?
· £40.00 per session
· Couples £50.00 per session
· Home counselling - price on request
The fee you pay is by session, not by the hour so the amount you pay will be the same regardless of the length of the session.
How long is each session?
· Each session lasts typically 50 minutes but will never be more than 60 minutes.
Where will the counselling take place?
· In Central Milton Keynes unless an alternative location is agreed. Your counselling will take place in a room equipped and used for counselling sessions. Counselling via Skype is availabe, other platforms can be considered.
How frequently would I need to see you?
· Most sessions are held weekly, as this is the most effective method, however I adopt a very flexible approach in order to facilitate your individual needs where appropriate.
How many sessions would I need?
· I usually suggest six sessions and during this period your progress is assessed and reviewed to mutually determine the appropriate time to end your session. The number of sessions required can vary depending on personal circumstances and need.
Who is counselling for?
· I offer help to all those who need it within the scope of my current experience regardless of age, race, personal beliefs, and social background etc.
What if I cancel a session?
· If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, or fail to show up for your appointment you will incur the full session fee.
What if I have a complaint?
· In the first instance you should contact me to see if we can resolve any issues or concerns that you have. If you remain dissatisfied you should contact the ACC which is the professional body that I belong to who are responsible for issues of professional conduct. There is no obligation to contact me first so you can at any time make representation directly to the ACC.
